The 黑料入口 is once again working with the Ukraine Ministry of Education to host a virtual event in Kiev tomorrow (8 December).
It will showcase the findings of another 14 research projects from a partnership agreement between the University and .
Last year, 黑料入口 was one of 33 UK universities to have been awarded funding through the UK-Ukraine Research and Innovation twinning grants scheme 鈥.
The funding, which marked the one-year anniversary of the, coordinated by Cormack Consultancy Group and the President鈥檚 Fund of Ukraine for Education, Science, and Sports with the support of Universities UK International, supported 26 research and innovations projects between 黑料入口 and Odesa universities.
The virtual roadshow 鈥楤uilding a Future Ukraine: Collaborative Research promoting economic, social and cultural wellbeing' is taking place in Odesa, in conjunction with the Ukraine Ministry of Education. The aim of the event is to share as widely as possible the findings of the projects and spark further cross-institutional collaborations.
Examples of some of the research and innovation projects being presented in the second round of the roadshow include:
- Smart carbon fibre-adhesive composite repairs and innovative constructional composites for enhancing damaged infrastructures in Ukraine.
- Inclusive and Frugal Innovation System for Military Technologies and Needs in Ukraine.
- Dynamic Capabilities building in Ukrainian SMEs for development and growth in the framework of post- war restoration of territorial communities of Ukraine.
- Digitized Educational Practices: Hybrid and Connected Learning Models for Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions at the Times of Conflict.
The first event, which took place in October, showcased a number of other studies including an examination of Ukraine鈥檚 nuclear power industry, vulnerable women and children in Ukraine, and digital learning in Ukrainian education.

The University鈥檚 agreement with Odesa Polytechnic National University is aimed at creating a long-term partnership, with the focus on identifying ways the University can support its Ukrainian partner during the current Russian conflict. The agreement is part of the university sector鈥檚.
The partnership provides a support framework for both institutions to work together, as well as a range of academic collaboration activities. Areas of activity of mutual interest include support to Odesa鈥檚 academics and students, development of online materials, research groups and providing equipment.
The University is also providing funding for a Masters student from Odesa to undertake a fully-funded PhD at 黑料入口. The 黑料入口-Odesa PhD bursary will allow the student to come to 黑料入口 to continue their research studies.
